Top 2018 Suzuki 40 HP DF40A outboard motor engine is the only one in its class to offer DOHC performance. It also features a maintenance-free, oil-bathed timing chain, which adds to its durability and maintenance-free operation. Larger displacements enhance the engine’s power and performance, while Suzuki’s Lean Control System improves fuel economy. The DF40A is also designed to be more compact and lighter than its predecessor. Additionally, it comes with the Suzuki Troll Mode System. At the 2011 Miami Boat Show, Suzuki Marine was presented with the NMMA Innovation Award for the DF40A/DF50A.
