As opposed to a traditional wheelchair that can put a tremendous amount of pressure on the lower back, the tilt and recline design enables the user’s weight to be spread more equally across their entire body, preventing pressure ulcers, skin breakdown, and other issues. Our weight-shifting center-of-gravity pressure relief design relies on a tilt range of 0-35º, a 30º range of back recline, and an aircraft-grade T6 aluminum frame.
