The total weight of this unit with battery pack is 60 lbs. However, after removing the battery pack, this unit only weighs 53 lbs. The slim and compact design of the foldable unit allows you to fit this power wheelchair in the back of just about any vehicle and offers an incredible turning radius of 24.5″.
The Jazzy Passport offers many storage options to store your belongings on the unit. Plus this power wheelchair is safe for airline safety and meets requirements of the FAA and TSA for personal mobility devices to travel with. There is an optional lithium battery that is removable, so you can travel with this chair on airlines.
Typically, the removable lithium battery is placed in your carry on baggage and the rest of the will go in the bottom on the plane in a safe and secure area. One of the best benefits of all about this unit is not only is designed by Pride Mobility, but it also comes with one year of in home service included in its warranty.
